Instructions

  1. In a pan, saute the chopped onion and celery in 1/2 stick of butter over medium heat until they are softened.

  2. In a medium saucepan, dissolve the bouillon cubes in 2 cups of water over medium heat.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the stuffing mix and broken bread.

  4. Add the cooked sausage, onion, and celery to the bowl.

  5. Pour the bouillon water mixture, poultry seasoning, and the beaten egg into the bowl and mix everything together until well combined.

  6. Use the mixture to stuff a bird before roasting or place it in a casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
